Brass & Silver Care:
Rub your brass and silver jewelry with a polishing cloth regularly (ideally after each wear) to restore the shine of your brass and silver. Always store your pieces in a dry place, preferably in a jewelry box or the box it came with. Avoid the bathroom and any humid or sunny area to store your jewelry.

In the event where your brass has tarnished to a dark tone and you wish to restore it to its original color, regular white vinegar or a mix of lemon juice and baking soda are great non-toxic ways to clean your pieces. To do that, either dip your piece fully in said solution (when you have no stones) or use a soft tooth brush and apply your vinegar or lemon/baking soda mix on the metal areas only (ideally avoid pearls and all stones). You will see the metal lightening and regain its original tone. Then rinse thoroughly with cold water and pat completely dry with a towel or even a fan. Once fully dried, proceed to rub your piece with a polishing cloth to give it back it's shine.

Important: Avoid leaving your pieces too long in the solution (5 minutes max), as the effect can be reversed and make your piece tend to tarnish even faster the next time. Proceed with this technique only when necessary.
